Look at all the stuff!!!!

What I really need to survive!: I haven't added much "new" gear to the mix since my last tour (2012 Rocky Mountain Tour). At any rate, here is all my stuff all spread out on the table just waiting for me to figure out how to pack it all! yikes! A comprehensive list is below for the geeks among us! :D

It Fits!: For the first time I am leaving the trusty Bob trailer at home and trying out panniers. I want to see what all the rave is about... I'll make an honest assessment after the trip as to which I think is better. Organizing all this crap into 4 panniers, trunk and handlebar bag wasn't easy as I need to balance the weight. I'm already missing my easy to pack Bob even though it is heavier by about 10 lbs (I've got spreadsheets to prove it ->here)! Right Rear: Clothes/groceries/snacks/tools Left Rear: Tent, fly, poles, stakes and spare tubes etc Right Front: Camp kitchen stuff: stove, pots, food Left Front: Sleeping stuff: pad, sleeping bag, pillow bag + some misc Trunk: Toiletries, jacket, hat and snack storage. Handlebar: small easy to reach items These panniers are quite cavernous and I have plenty of room to spare...
